Sunglasses are the underestimated accessory. They can enhance an outfit while simultaneously hiding the fact that you only had four hours of sleep. They can help you get away with running Saturday errands with nothing but your eyebrows considered acceptable for leaving the house. Even with the summer quickly coming to an end, sunglasses are always in season.
If I catch even a glimpse of sun, I’m rocking my sunnies. Here are a few of my favorite styles:
Aviators – I feel cool, calm and collected when I rock Aviators. These are oldies but I got them from Banana Republic.
Tortoise Shell – I think I have three pairs of sunglasses with some type of tortoise shell design. It compliments just about any skin tone and gives a hint of pattern without roaming too far from most comfort zones. You can wear them big and bold or feminine with a cat-eye. I sincerely recommend a tortoise shell print for every woman’s sunglass collection.
Statement – The bigger the better when it comes to statement sunglasses. They scream, “I’m here!” in the most fashion-forward way. Tip for the statement pairs is to buy them on sale or for the low-low. That way, you don’t have to wear them often, yet you still get your money’s worth. Both of these styles came from Nordstrom’s B.P. section.
